Starting off with renting a quaint five stall facility, Ray's Swedish Warmblood program was scarcely known. It wasn't until Ray bought a large plot of property in North Carolina and began to build her own facilities that the program became known.
The facilities of Whispering Pine Stables are simple but extensive and always at their prime. The property features three barns, each with varying amounts of stalls. The barns are all designed in different ways and specialized to hold a certain type of horse. We currently have an 8-stall stallion barn, a smaller show barn, and a larger barn for the other horses. Fitted in between the barns are 6 paddocks used as small turnouts that comfortably hold 2 horses each.
On the outskirts of the property, to the west, we have large pasture lots. Two of the pastures are very large and can comfortably hold many horses. The other pasture is cut in half and is used to turn out the stallions.
Directly north of the barns is the outdoor arena and the round pen. You can also follow a path directly up to the large home in which the staff reside.
To the east of the barns there is a cross country field and an outdoor arena. We still currently have two open, unwooded lots which have yet to be used to build anything.
